Andras is a practical and rather simple person. Honest, open, patient, and on the quiet side; he is fairly intelligent but can get distracted easily. Although raised under the careful tutelage of nuns, Andras' education does not extend far past that of a traditional United States high school freshman.
He sets goals and works towards them, determined and perseverant, but he has very little long-term ambition and does not aspire to be anything in particular. He is content as he is, for the most part, although he could always do with more money. The greatest part of vampirism for Andras at the moment is the fact that he no longer requires food to survive; he does have to drink blood, but he is saving a lot of money by not having to purchase meals.

He knows very little of his own past, and nothing of his original parents. However, he does not care and attends only to the present. Formerly a low-level operative in the Mafia, since quitting their ranks he had been doing simple magic tricks on sidewalks to gain money. Currently, he simply steals the wallets of the humans that he drinks from; since they end up dying, Andras figures that they have no need of their cash. Initially having a highly religious background, he does have a conscience; however, its efficiency fluctuates depending on his mood.

As a vampire, Andras is on the frail side but rapidly gaining strength. He chooses his targets at whim, preferring the blood of the young and innocent. The blood trailing through the veins of the elderly or wicked makes him feel ill, although Andras is still able to partake in it if need be. At most times he is a rather fearful being, not desiring to get caught by anyone as he feeds; despite a healthy appetite for human blood, because of this he does not feed often. He is undecided on the actual aspect of killing, if it is right or wrong. Except when concerning his friends, Andras is a bit selfish and will generally put his needs above that of strangers.

September 29th, 1990: A small baby is found on the footsteps of an orphanage in Chicago, and the nuns in charge of the establishment take him in. The nuns name him Michael, as he arrived on the day of Saint Michael's feast, and raise him like any other of the orphanage's few inhabitants. They teach him to read and write at a very early age, and instill in him various values of the Christian church. Below the surface, Michael begins to detest the rigid environment and the rules of Catholicism; he begins to secretly study demonology as a form of rebellion, particularly tomes like The Lesser Key of Solomon - an anonymous 17th century grimoire.

August 11th, 2000: The orphanage Michael was raised in burns down under mysterious circumstances, and not all of the inhabitants survive - the fire began late at night, and due to a broken fire alarm not everyone was alerted to the fire. A few of the children smell the smoke and wake up, but for the most part nearly everyone perishes. Michael is turned out into the streets by this, forced to survive any way he can. His best friend Andrew accompanies him, and the duo manage to scrape by for almost two years.

June 2002: Andrew joins the Mafia as a low-level errand boy, despite protestations from Michael, seeing the Mafia as a dangerous entity that they should distance themselves from. However, Andrew is convinced that a good amount of money can be made from this new life, and for a time he is right - Andrew and Michael are able to even rent an apartment and live somewhat decently. Michael is soon drawn into the Mafia himself at the same position, and life seemingly becomes better.

September 19th, 2008: A Mafia mission ends with the death of Andrew, among other members of the gang, and Michael declares that he wishes to break all his ties to the Mafia. Instead of accepting his leaving, several members of the Mafia decide to kill Michael "for turning traitor." Fortunately, he catches wind of this, and is able to get a small head start - he packs a small bag with a few items (but mostly cash) and returns to the streets. For the remainder of the month, he would be dodging the Mafia goons and simply attempting to survive. Eventually he comes to the conclusion that continuing to live in Chicago would be impossible, and decides to leave the city.

November 1st, 2008: Michael flees Chicago, changing his name to Andras for two main reasons (aside from needing a new name to escape the Mafia): one, the name was similar to that of Andrew, so it was a small way of honoring of his deceased friend. Two, it was a name of a Goetic demon - naming himself for a being such as that would be a sharp blow to his Christian upbringing.

November 4rd, 2008: Andras takes temporary refuge in a small town, taking advantage of his androgynous features by beginning dressing more like a woman. This would protect him from being caught by the Mafia for a bit, but he decides that it would be best to get out of the state completely.

December 6th, 2009: Andras stumbles across a dark city known as RavenBlack, and to prevent himself from freezing to death in the approaching winter spares some of his dwindling cash to rent a seedy little apartment.

January 22nd/23rd, 2009: Andras is out and about RavenBlack City as usual when he feels drawn to some unknown place. Deciding to investigate the strange feeling, the man allows himself to be unconsciously guided in the direction that is being dictated to his mind. He soon arrives in a dark alleyway, and while his eyes are adjusting he feels a sharp pain. The physical shock renders him unconscious, and he awakes an undetermined amount of time later - disoriented and with a throbbing neck. Blood is spattered all over the ground, and a sickening realization creeps across a weakened Andras. It is his blood....
Andras stumbles about RavenBlack in a haze, eventually making it back to his shoddy single-room apartment. He passes out once more, and when he awakes the next morning he feels even worse. The light hurts his eyes, and he feels dull... sluggish... like he should be sleeping. He succumbs to his body's dictations a few hours later, rising after nightfall in a strangely strengthened state of being. It does not take too long for Andras to figure out that he is a vampire, and he feels a mixture of horror and elation. Shortly after wandering outside, he is set upon by a bizarre man that shoots crossbow bolts at him. The two have a short altercation, which ends as Andras' frightening new instincts force him to drain the man of blood.

January 24th, 2009: Not knowing who made him a vampire, Andras begins to search the City for his sire. It does not take him long to find the strange man, known as "†The David," and his gang "The Midnights." Andras immediately joins - although he initially had some semblance of fear, stemming from his run-in with the Mafia, he decides that it would be for the best. Not only might being a member of another gang help in the rare occurrence that the Mafia found Andras, but it would provide an excellent opportunity to get to know The David better. Unfortunately, being newly Turned, Andras feels a bit inadequate and unable to contribute much to the gang. He becomes very determined to gain power, and reads as much as he can find on RavenBlack City.

January 30th, 2009: Andras, glutted on human blood, completes a very painful quest given to him by a guild for vampires - Stamina. He shudders a bit, knowing that there are two more levels of the power he will have to go after. However, he kind of likes it.... (1/21)

February 7th, 2009: Andras acquires the first levels of the powers known as Shadows and Thievery. (3/21)

February 18th, 2009: Andras obtains the second levels of Shadows and Thievery. (5/21)

March 2nd, 2009: Now accustomed to the existence of vampire hunters, Andras gains Perception so that he can track them more efficiently. (6/21)

March 4th, 2009: Andras achieves the first level of Charisma, in a rather short amount of time thanks to the COVE. (7/21)

March 9th, 2009: Andras simultaneously gains Celerity-1 and Second-Sight from the vampire known as RavenBlack. (9/21)
