November 5, 2006: After being bitten and turned by †RavenBlack in an alley while backpacking through Europe, Coquette follows him to RavenBlack City and joins the ranks of the undead. She discovers the ghettos/suburbs and begins to interact with various vampires and observe her surroundings.
In the time that follows Coquette continues to interact with her friends in the ghettos/suburbs and learn of her location in that way. She remains oblivious to news sources, clans, wars, shops, and all things grid-related for the six months following her entry into the City, until she meets some notable friends. In this time, Coquette also has relationships with two vampires who no longer exist, †ApocalypseGod and †Carter Tank. Unaware of the Hall of Binding, Coquette and Carter Tank are “married in blood” during this time, but later have a falling out and no longer associate with one another. To this day Coquette chooses to believe that the binding not done by the halls is not sacred and does not recognize Carter as a past companion.
June 2007: Coquette has been noticed by various vampires who have good standing within the community and begins to learn about that which takes place beyond the ghettos/suburbs. She makes friends such as †Andre Lenoig, †Mandolin, †BladeOfRayne, †Shina, †Inu, †Frozen Nova, †FemaleKyo, and more. (Note, if I listed all of them the list would be very long.) A man named †Andre approaches her and offers to sire her, she demands that he wait until she completes her budding powers. He agrees, and allows her to choose between him and some ten others who offer to sire her. It is at this time that Coquette compares herself to an orphan child being thrown into the clutches of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the popular news source, the VNN. Coquette is also active on the BCIN newspaper and begins finding joy in participating in this part of city life.
Following June 2007, Coquette continues gaining powers at a rapid speed, and trying to earn the coin to make up for the purchases at the same speed. Come November 11, 2007, she finds herself at a standstill and has no more coin left. Feeling as though she has had ample time to consider her decision to sire under †Andre D'dary, she chooses to become his childe, rejecting the various others who had sired her, including †Andre Lenoig and †BladeOfRayne. This causes a rift in her friendship between the two and some mild drama ensues. Coquette also develops a short-lived relationship with the vampire †Alastair, whose confusion about intimacy in the City causes him to leave her two weeks later. They were not intimate with one another, as he claimed she intimidated him. She then, confused, seeks out a relationship with another man, †Scythian, who is simply interested in her for physical purposes, and, he claimed, at one point to “bring the D’dary line together with †Lucius’ line".
November 26, 2007: †Andre sires Coquette and she is welcomed into the D’dary family. While there she flourishes under the care of the entire family, and grows fond of them all. She enjoys the company of her sisters and is able to complete her powers after winning 150,000 coins in a family competition.
12/2/2007: Coquette ceases her relationship with Scythian and begins to seek out Alastair once more.
12/5/2007: Coquette attends a family shopping trip to Milan with the D’dary clan. She rooms with her sister, Shina, and goes shoe shopping with aunt †Elektra.
12/15/2007: Reconciling with Alastair, they become engaged and Coquette embarks upon a “Ten Days of Christmas” regimen to prove her love. She loses track and does not complete this.
12/22/2007: Coquette writes the allegedly famed “How to be a Noob” poem in the ghettos, with friends.
In this time Coquette comes close to finishing her powers in the city, and continues her relationship with Alastair, despite being unhappy with what she perceives to be his immaturity and inability to love properly. She considers several times breaking the relationship, but perseveres. Andre, at one point, threatens Alastair and demands that he leave Coquette alone, however she appeals to him as a childe and is able to continue the relationship.
1/14/2008: Alastair breaks up with Coquette, leaving her devastated and oddly relieved. He claims not to love her “in that way”. Alastair leaves into a self-induced torpor, and is rarely seen again through the rest of her City existence.
2/8/2008: Coquette begins her last power, Celerity 3.
2/14/2008: In an attempt to cheer her lonely sister, Shina sets Coquette up on a blind date with a friend, †Lord Chaos. They spend hours together on Valentines Day and find themselves to have a great deal in common. Immediately charmed by the older vampire, Coquette seems to fall in love with him.
Following their date, Lord Chaos woos her with a variety of flowers, roses, orchids, dandelions and more, one for every day that she has known him. He claims everlasting love of her and she falls deeply in love with him, and they start a serious relationship. This continues for the next month and a half, until Lord Chaos proposes and asks Andre for Coquette’s hand. Andre expresses indifference, which is taken as approval.
4/7/2008: Lord Chaos and Coquette are bound in an elaborate ceremony in front of family and friends.
By May 13th, Lord Chaos has left the city indefinitely due to unknown (OOC) reasons. Coquette remains faithful to him and hopeful that he returns. She remains this way for 99 days, though Lord Chaos does visit, notably on May 23rd, 2008, before disappearing once more.
†RemipunX is sired by Andre and Coquette takes an instant dislike to the woman, as she creates multiple barriers between Coquette and Andre and is believed to be generally rude, dishonest, and crude. RemipunX claims Coquette is trying to gather a party to kill her, and demands that Andre sever her. Coquette takes this time to isolate herself from her family and feels both misunderstood and ignored. In the end, Coquette proves at least partially correct as RemipunX is found to be spying on the D’dary family for the Scions of the Phoenix, and a war ensues. Coquette is never actively cleared of her name based on Remi’s accusations, but she receives an apology and continues as if nothing has happened.
5/25/2008: A war with the Scions of the Phoenix looms. RemipunX is severed, and immediately sired by †King Lestat. RemipunX’s childer †-Konamie- and †Idony sire under Andre as Coquette’s sisters. Another former childe, †upir, forms a friendship with Coquette based on a mutual dislike of RemipunX and they decide to become sire and childe after a while. Upir hesitantly agrees to partake in the war against the Scions of the Phoenix by joining their clan and relaying information back to Andre, having a fair amount of fondness for the D'dary family. As he had a BattleCloak at this time he does not actively participate in the war.
5/30/2008: The war with the Scions of the Phoenix begins, and Coquette’s first Holy Water is from †Katastrophe. Feeling alone and scared, Coquette freezes up during a live battle and begins to cry. She goes to sleep in the street, feeling the sting of Holy Water as she awakens from vampires †deaths embrace, †Jaida, †Dilectus, †Lily, †EmpressLizard, †Inu, †Green Mayo, †Kiya N, †RemipunX, †Mur, and †sara_angel.
Coquette had avoided hitting Lily and Inu, believing them to be her sisters by †Annabelle, Andre’s wife. Unaware of the clan practice of “clan over family” Coquette feels betrayed by the two and is extremely hurt by their actions against her when she had not hit them.
The first week of June, Coquette has to step away from the fighting for unknown (OOC) reasons. She is called a coward and a shadow walker by the Scions of the Phoenix, and in brief moments of consciousness attempts to defend herself.
6/25/2008: After some time discussing the city’s newspapers with friend Andre Louvain, Coquette and †Louvain create their own based around the ideals for free speech and opinion for all vampires. The Bite takes off as extremely popular from the start, being mostly maintained by Coquette as their social admin, and Louvain running the technical features.
6/26/2008: Coquette sires †upir, her first childe.
Coquette continues to live happily in the arms of the D’dary family as Andre’s childe for several months.
8/19/2008: Lord Chaos returns to the City for one last day to sever Coquette. Heartbroken, she takes a hiatus from the City and returns with newfound perception.
8/20/2008: Before her hiatus, Coquette moves into a condo with †Uriah.
After returning, Coquette begins a rebound relationship with †AcerNeros. Feeling that she had fallen in love with each other, they become engaged three months after beginning their relationship. However, Coquette then becomes nervous and begins acting out in order to test the bonds of their love. She does not feel she is ready to bind again.
10/30/2008: Coquette flings herself off of the Hall of Binding.
11/2008: Coquette and †AcerNeros end their engagement and relationship.
11/23/2008: After the death and jailing of †Sartori, †Andre informs the D’dary family that he is retiring and possibly leaving the City, and offers his childer an out to be severed. After a few days of consideration, Coquette takes Andre up on his offer and is severed.
It is found that Andre either changed his mind after this event or lied (it is not known for sure by Coquette) as he severs Sartori and is bound as childe to †ophelia mere days afterwards. Confused, Coquette seeks out the vampire ophelia and begins having long and in-depth conversations with her in order to sort her feelings out. In doing so, Coquette and ophelia develop a loving relationship, where Coquette views ophelia as a sire.
12/2008: Coquette begins a relationship with †JanusDP on a whim. She does not intend to fall in love with him or maintain the relationship for long. The romance between the pair continues for eight months.
Coquette meets and befriends a vampire named †Toki at the prompting of her friend, †Tally Horrer. Tally believes that Toki would be an ideal second childe for Coquette. They develop a good friendship and Toki claims herself to be Coquette’s protégé, something that makes Coquette very proud and instills a lot of hope in her for the young vampire. She begins to place many hopes and dreams upon Toki in the time before their binding.
12/13/2008: Coquette gathers the courage to ask ophelia to become her sire, and she is sired under the woman. Widely considered by Coquette to be the best decision she had ever made for herself.
During this time Coquette first meets †Reizvolles, a boy who is intended to be sired by her roommate †Uriah. She likes him a great deal, though she finds him shy and somewhat strange. They continue a friendship for a while, her providing him with advice when Uriah was not present, in between intermittent absences.
12/28/2008: Coquette sires Toki, presumably the happiest siring she’d ever had, however subsequent events cause her to believe Toki to be one of the largest mistakes she’d ever made.

2/10/2009: Toki becomes fully powered and Coquette gives her a family heirloom out of pride, a locket given to her by someone she loved dearly.
3/2009: Coquette joins Yggdrasil in order to learn clan life from ophelia.
4/28/2009: After many arguments, Toki asks Coquette to sever her. Heartbroken and unwilling, Coquette does so. Moments later, she discovers that Andre †Louvain, a man presumed to be her closest friend, had intended to sire Toki after she’d been severed. She refuses further friendship with the two. Toki refuses to return the heirloom, instead pawning it for weapons later in the year to attack Coquette, causing further heartache.
Coquette’s romance with †JanusDP continues to blossom. He leaves for three months, awarding her with a gift of a stuffed octopus and his most prized gun, Durandal. He asks her to consider Durandal as a promise that he will always return for her, and she keeps it eternally as a reminder of their relationship.
7/3/2009: JanusDP leaves the City indefinitely, without reason. He does not say goodbye to Coquette. She learns of his departure secondhand from his childe, †Kaelani.
Coquette befriends a fledgeling named †Viola, who was intended to be sired by Andre Louvain. They soon become best friends and Viola asks Coquette to sire her, as well as Reizvolles, who has given up on Uriah as his sire.
8/20/2009: †Viola and †Reizvolles are sired by Coquette.
Coquette begins a relationship with her sibling, †Archontohs, out of confusion and need. They are not sexual. She develops strong feelings for him and he claims to do so for her, however a series of events involving sibling †Mandolin tear them apart, and Archontohs is not forgiven for his choice. He later expresses regret.
11/06/2009: Coquette severs †-Tatyn-, mutually as possible, after a long absence.
11/13/2009: Friend †blackdragon returns to the city to take a woeful Coquette on vacation. During their vacation they realize an attraction to one another and begin a relationship.
12/2009: After nearly one-year of arguing over Andre Louvain’s lack of contribution to The Bite, he hands the newspaper over to her in a uncharacteristically polite and pleasant encounter. She moves The Bite to a new location and purchases a building in the City at Oppression and 40th for it to live forever. She hires new staff and begins to take The Bite in a similar but new direction as its only administrator.
12/13/2009: Coquette marks one year as ophelia’s childe and expresses no regret over the choice.
1/04/2010: Coquette is proposed to by †blackdragon in Rome, in front of the Ecstasy of St. Theresa. She emphatically accepts and is overjoyed.
3/07/2010: Coquette and blackdragon are bound and form the Laroque line between the two of them.
4/05/2010: Coquette sires †Avita after befriending the girl as her childe’s wife. She expresses unhappiness with †Synangel and asks Coquette to sire her. Coquette feels she has finally completed her perfect family.
5/2010: †Surenitee is zeroed by Yggdrasil after attacking Coquette. Upset that she was not allowed to zero him herself for personal reasons, there is a rift between her and her clanmates, feeling that she is not accepted for her individuality and them feeling that she is ungrateful.
6/2010: Coquette leaves Yggdrasil. Weeks later, she joins the Ferrymen school as her husband and childe †Viola have expressed happiness over being a part of that clan. She finds a home within the Ferrymen Corridor, feeling friendship and camaraderie with her clanmates and that her values are respected and accepted. She prefers the active atmosphere and family-like feel to this clan, and is glad to have joined.
7/28/2010: Coquette severs blackdragon as partner after he refuses to meet face-to-face to work on their relationship.
