General Information

Full Name: Frederick Christopher Griffiths-Hill
Nicknames: Erique, Erique van Griffin's Hill, Erique on Griffin's Hill.
Age: Turned in his early 20s.
Current Status: Unknown

Appearance

Frederick is fairly thin in build, and a smidgen on the short side of tallness. His skin is vaguely pale, but nowhere near ghost-white. He has fairly clear blue eyes, irides speckled with the barest hint of brown, and straight, relatively short black hair.

He doesn't care much for what he wears, so it can be anything, though he shows a marginal preference for darker tones - especially black - but he puts no notable effort into any one outfit.

Personality

Introverted, superficially jovial, defensive-aggressive, with a destructive core. Not very violent in action, except in self-defense. Very energetic in most things he does.

Takes no joy out of harming others, but no discomfort, either - very disconnected from the emotions of others. Slightly obsessive (OCD, perhaps). Thinks things through, comes to conclusions, and will pursue things going by assumptions rather than spend time digging for raw facts. As such, fairly impulsive.

Views himself as tolerant, but really isn't. Still, unless a bout of paranoia is triggered, is a nice person to be around - pleasantly conversational, something of an entertainer, certainly with some charms, and rather hard to truly, deeply aggravate, though has some quirks that may end up with him feeling upset/hurt.

He's a bit overwhelmed by the vampire world, not only denying his weaknesses to others but also to himself - fighting his way through it emotionally.

As a human, he stocked a tiny arsenal of garlic spray and holy water to deal with vampires, and introduced himself to several Salaxians with "If you attack me, I hope you like garlic spray." While not entirely comfortable with the existence of vampires, he did what he could in order to cope with the knowledge.

History

• April 15th, 2003 - †PinkGoth2 asks Frederick for the directions to the nearest bank, who tells her it's at Jaded and 25th and, convinced she's exhausted, shows her the way. He decides to stick around to chat. The next day, Frederick loiters about with curiosity as PinkGoth2 gains Thievery; they talk a lot and starting becoming extremely friendly.
• Sometime between April 16th and May 1st, Frederick moves in with PinkGoth2; Salaxacis has a communal living block of sorts called "Nox Noctis" just east of Archer's Tavern.
• May 1st, 2003 - Frederick (rather belatedly) finds out that PinkGoth2 is a vampire, and there is a short but ultimately peaceful confrontation.
• May 24th, 2003 - †Az and Frederick meet at Archer's Tavern, introduced by PinkGoth2.
• †DarkJewel attacks Frederick in the midst of Archer's Tavern during a Salaxian meeting, succumbing to bloodlust, only to be yanked back from him by her sire †PinkGoth2. Frederick is a bit terrified by the swiftness of it all, as well as the intentions displayed in the attack, and crawls away on the floor while the two vampires hiss at each other.
• June 22nd, 2003 - †Lady Kayura and Frederick meet at Archer's Tavern, introduced by PinkGoth2.
• June 28th, 2003 - Frederick gets a strange call from PinkGoth2 via her mobile where she remarks that someone followed her. Information is vague and nothing ever seems to come of it (short-term, at least), but at that moment he's concerned. Later, when PinkGoth2 is on a Celerity quest, Frederick accompanies her.
• April 2004 - Frederick leaves a vague note behind prior to disappearing.
• 2004 - Frederick is turned into a vampire by Zyan Quetzal for unelaborated-upon reasons, and helped him the years before Gehyra.
