Before Raven Black.

He was born into a family of travellers, constantly switching from one place to another without rest. His parents had named him Zanzu. Zanzu Ametsuchi. Moving from city to city, village to village, forest to forest, Zanzu never had a chance to settle down. When he was seven years of age, he began to complain about this. His parents only wanting the best for their only child, they indeed settle down in a small, poor village. The scene consisting of miles of dirt, the summers hot and the winters cold, shelters consisting of mudhuts. Those who weren't constructive enough to create a mudhut, well, they'd have to stick with home-made tents of twigs and materials.

It wasn't exactly paradise, but for Zanzu, it was home. For a year, atleast. In this year, Zanzu and his family - Mother, Father, Aunt, Grandmother - built two mudhuts, one for a parent and Zanzu, the other for the other parent, Aunt, and Grandmother. The Aunt's name was Reisha, the Mother's Nakita, the Grandmother's Tsuchi, and his Father's Yokuro. Once and a while, one of the family members would go off to buy supplies. Simple, little things. Zanzu slept in a hammock, while other members slept on a padded surface, with a large rip of material or maybe a blanket spread over the top.

Why did Zanzu get the extra luxary? Well, word got out that he was a guardian of nature. Not too important, but to those of the village, who were educated by myths, ledgends, mistold stories, Zanzu was one of the gods, who would soon bring fresh crops and clean water to the place. Of course, this never happened, since the young boy was still seeing on what could become of his powers. He got the best cuts of what little food people gained, living a hard life where people had to work for whatever they got.

Why didn't they move away? It cost to get into the richer cities in this dimension. It cost money they just didn't have.

So, during this year, Zanzu befriended and fell in love with a girl the same age as him, Ekiti. She loved him right back, of course, and left along with him when he and his families moved on. While travelling, they had been caught up in a storm. Zanzu was seperated from his family and Ekiti, what happened to them was unknown.

From then on, Zanzu remained searching for Ekiti, being a guardian of Nature it was easy to live on the little he had. At the time, he was only ten years of age. Two years later, he found her in a main city, recognising her instantly he flung himself around her, ready to serve her every will. One problem. She didn't remember him. She allowed him to stay, though, he seemed to resemble -something- to her.

About another year on, she still hadn't remembered, and sent Zanzu on his way. Upset, confused, stressed...So many emotions boiling up inside his pot, the boy exploded. The night before his birthday, was when this happened. He continued on his rampage until the next day, midday. That, was when the storm had reached it's peak.

He'd killed thousands, no knowledge of if Ekiti got away or not. That was what tortured him most. She was a vegeterian, a lover of animals, and obsessed with bright, sparkling colours.

He still sings the melody his mother once sang to him to get him to sleep during restless nights during nightmares or pleasent dreams; 'Ak-tu mana, relu fin-monoca, wol-rii kabana anotaku reimana Teikabano, Elemina Rei Chodii Wess.' And repeat, some of the words may be said in different ways each time, with different notes, but always the same, strange lyrics. This, was his original language. Somehow, when he switched into the world of Raven Black, his language was flipped. The reason for this still remains unknown.

In Keitaro's dreams, the language would change in mid-air so he would understand perfectly, without having to know both languages. Since this was all in his head, he actually knew both languages, just that one stuck in the back of his unconcious mind, while the other jutted out in the open.

He was thrown into a portal that he managed to rip open by chance after his rampage, before the strong winds swept him up a man attacked from behind, slamming a bright pink orb into the back of Zanzu's head. It was designed to knock him out and kill him, but the hit hadn't been right on target and instead, he was knocked out, and had lost his memory.

Keitaro's New Life, In RavenBlack City.

The child was woken by a woman leaning over him, who's name was Yumi Rozu. She had a son at the time who she'd adopted, Leo. Being named Keitaro, he was brought under her wing and raised as a Rozu, soon to be given the Rozu Clan mark on his left ankle, a place he'd chosen because to him it was resembling speed - He could make movements faster than the blink of an eye. A mark what still stands today.

When his mother had demanded he became more social, the child was given a list of her friends before being set off on his way. This, being the one thing that changed his entire life.

Soon enough Keitaro met Akujin, they instantly bonded and within a few days Yumi and Akujin talked, and Kei was re-adopted into the Nakaru family. When taken out on a shopping spree, Kei met Kat. Strange girl, and to be honest, even though he tried to dislike her, he quite liked the way she was different than anyone else, kind of like him. She just didn't listen to people's bickering.

After that, they didn't speak for a while, for the simple reason they just never crossed paths. Until a small scene in the tavern brought them back together, they got along intantly. Kat promised to teach Kei some things, and help him regain his memory. With rapid timing, he did just that.

When the two engaged to a friendship-marriage, Kat was pregnant. Kei never found out who was the babies father, but the child's name was LeZander. Kei adopted a child too, having -hated- that...Thing inside Kat. Daegana, was her name. During this time, Kat and Kei ended up in love, together they held eachother up. Keitaro saved Kat from insanity and death, Kat saved Kei from the same thing.

After being told he can't bind with Kat until he was fully powered, Keitaro quit the Nakaru's. Kat was the only thing important to him, many just didn't understand how powerful his love for her really is. Akujin took pity on the boy, and didn't remove his memory of the Nakaru's as he should have. Being told He was Akujin's favorite son by the very man himself...He felt incredibly guilty.

He kept quiet about it. Nobody knew, not even Kat. He even hid it from himself. When Ekiti found Keitaro, there was that haterid between his ex, and his current lover. Soon enough Kat tried to get along with Ekiti for Keitaro's sake, and being let to pass between Keitaro's world to visit his family, and back into RavenBlack, all thanks to Ekiti...They were both thankful.

In return, Keitaro promised to get along with the newborn baby, LeZander. He knew how much it meant to Kat, and how much stress it would take off her. The one thing about Kei, is that he gives what he is given.

Give him haterid, he returns it. Give him favors, he returns them. Give him respect, he returns it. The only thing that he wouldn't return, is love. (Unless you're what he'd consider a family member, or if your name's Kat. o.<)

Keitaro and Kat married finally. Early in the morning, with a giant pink spider, a boy oogling the bride, matching rainbow outfits for Kei and Kat, a sleeping Fenrir, A hatter in PJ's reading from a nursery book, a guy bleeding it out in the corner, and alot of whining about lack of energy. Trust them two to have the nuttiest wedding.

Unfortunately, a while after this, Kat asked for the two to go on a break. Instantly, Keitaro became so jealous of whoever Kat's attention was on it was unbearable. Because of this factor, the teen went to his old Sire, Akujin, for a little help. Quickly after that, he went to all his close friends, including his best friend at the time, Marion+Ette. He told them to look after him, make sure he didn't make the same mistakes. His final destination was Kat.

After a breif explanation, Kat agree'd to take Keitaro up into the room he owned upstairs of the tavern. A note lay on the desk, for Keitaro. In that room, he kept a select few items, and on the note was an explanation for the confusion that had yet to come. Once Keitaro had gulped the formula that Akujin had handed over, Kat made sure the boy was alright, then left.

When Keitaro awoke, he had no memory of anything but simple things; Speech, walking, eating, breathing. You get the drift. He read the note, discovering that his full name was now Keitaro Zanzu. He had lost his memory, but he must not try to find out how or why, along with some other things. He found out about certain objects, and how people he didn't know would greet him.

Eventually, he re-met alot of his friends, including Kat. However, she was extremely stressed out and upset whenever around the boy, so she tried to avoid him, not wanting to be involved in his 'new life'. This backfired on her when he thought it was because of just general life, and turned to Akujin for another vial of what he'd taken himself. ( He had found out about who he was and what happened to him one day when Kat exploded all the information in his new house one day. )
