Born Dec 1980, Chester, England. I was brought up near the Chester Cathedral. Although I don’t remember much from my childhood in Chester, as I moved at a young age. I do remember the Cathedral, that was because my grandparents used to take me there every weekend for Mass. Although my mum’s parents were Catholic, my mother was more pagan/goddess based spiritually, so she would take us down to the Cathedral and explain the pagan symbolism behind the beautifully carved statues and tombs.
Another thing I remember vividly was at 2 years old, realizing that although being the perfect child had its rewards, causing mischief for myself and others, was a lot more fun. I used to spend hours with Dad’s band, bashing on drums, and figuring out how to break things, and how not to take apart dad’s race bikes.
Drums became my passion. Motorbikes, my life. My hobby? Researching Christianity and it’s pagan roots.
From Dad, I learnt the finer points of music and all things powered by a motor. From my mother, I learnt not to judge people by their religion and what they read, and not to take a religion at face value, to look deeper into both and see what is there for me.
My family shipped over to New Zealand when I was about 7 years old. I was there for most of my life.
I met my best mates, the love of my life, and learnt a lot of life lessons, like how not to crash a super bike at top speed and also, how to drink my beloved under the table.
Whilst studying at university in New Zealand, I met a wonderful being, he was, well, me, kinda, a lot like me in a lot of ways. He became my mentor, only a few years older than me, but our minds were permanently on the same wave length. He was the one who convinced me to travel, and I did, to Europe, India, Middle East. 2 years just wandering.
I eventually met up with a character that joined me and we spent a few months in each others presence. He told me of his lifestyle, his purpose and why it all was the way it was for him. He offered me the same choice, to become one of his kind. So I took the offer. There was nothing much holding me to my life. I was the only surviving member of my family – various illnesses and accidents had claimed what I had left.
So I was turned. Age 22, I have only been a ‘pire for 6 years, I’ve been at RBC for most of that, dvika told me of a place he had visited once, and asked me to call upon him when I arrived. 6 months later, I did just that. I found my Lady, she filled the void that Char had left in me. I purchased my bike, and now I cruise the streets, just being me. I have spent a lot of time fine tuning my skills and powers, and as a result, have had little time for myself, but I like that. I was always a free spirit in life, and not much has changed, as of yet, but things are slowly moving in a different circle at a different speed, making life a lot more enjoyable.
LadyInBlack and I were bound in April 2006, it was a wonderful partnership. We got along so well because we were best friends, not lovers. I didn't realise this until a few weeks ago. We discussed the possibility of a severance and agreed that it was the right thing to do. It was agreed that I would pay for it as I had more expendable funds than she.
Then a couple of weeks ago, I feel in love, and realised that I had to sever by best friend in order to find out more about this vampiress who had stolen my heart. The two of us went to the Severance Hall and I completed the rite of Severance, I will always cherish the time spent with my wife as she was my best friend, but now, it was time for me to fall head first into my new relationship with the vampiress I love.
And I did. I fell her for completely and loved her completely, infact, I will always love her completely. A binding never happened but we are still very close and still love each other.
Sadly, when my home fell apart around me, my greatest love and I drifted apart, finding homes in separate corners of the city.
I am yet to find love again in this city but I know I will one day.
After leaving my first home at LoSD, I found refuge with WoE and the guidance of BlueVamp.
BlueVamp and I merged WoE with PoE and we found refuge with doncey and his family. I was sired by Velvet Kiss while with PoE and I have never looked back. She’s always filled a void in my life and now I will always stand by her side as her first son.
Velvet and I build our own home after spending a period with doncey at PoE. We found that we needed more than we were offered, so stepping out we build, stone by stone, Ag leasú an deiridh (The O'Shea Clan); taking in a few students, we threw ourselves back into the teaching that we loved and yearned for. Along the way, I gained a sister, MsCuriosity and then fathered by own childe, Lillian. Such stunning vampiresses adorn my family tree and I have filled my unbeating heart with much appreciation and love for all of them.
Sadly, in 2010, Velvet and I had to close the doors of TOC and moved in with Cricket at House of Heorot. Now as a full member of HoH, I am re-immersing myself in my teaching and again discovering my love for this city and its inhabitants.
