Banks (called Omnibank in the game) are used to safely store your coins. When you deposit money to your Omnibank account, you can then withdraw it from any other bank in the city. Unfortunately the bank accounts do not grow interest. You should always remember to bank your coins, lest ye be robbed by pires with the dreaded Thievery power.
There are 200 banks in RavenBlack City, scattered without pattern. For their addresses, see the list below.
There are items that affect your bank affairs:
- A Safety Deposit Box Key allows its owner to deposit items as well, and later withdraw them at any bank
- A Scroll of Accounting allows its owner to inspect his or her account balance without being in a bank
These are not available at any bank, but are instead sold in particular shops.
Overcrowded banks
Unlike a transit station, a bank can be overcrowded if too many vampires stay and rest in it. When that happens, other arriving vampires — all eagar to get their pocketfuls of coins into safety — cannot get in. Their only option may be to use a Scroll of Turning to eliminate the queue, hurting all in the process.
To avoid this problem, a smooth vampire simply steps out of the bank once done in there. Resting outside a bank is mostly safe, as long as your pockets are empty.
