Lairs are buildings that are paid for by a player. One can tell that the building is a lair by its maroon name sign:

<name of owner's choice>

This building has a description and can shadow it's owner provided it is set up that way. A lair has many uses and can have links to other places like a role play site. The cost of a lair is 300 credits and they have several opions that can be added to them for a cost in credits (locks, shops, drinks, items, weapons, pictures, etc). A lair can offer shelter (If they shadow) from biting and robbing, as well as tactical advantages, but you can still be scrolled out of your lair. A lair sets you out from other vampires in the city, and is often a monument or a mark you leave on the city that everyone will see forever or until the game is no longer hosted. It is also considered rude to sit inside someones home uninvited or to speak or scroll it.
