Mortal

Mortal is often used synonymously with the out-of-character player, the real person. The term can be put in expressions like the mortal behind the vampire.

The vampire, in contrast, is the in-game character. A clear distinction between mortal and vampire becomes extra important when vampires are in an in-game conflict.

In Bloodchat, the mortal is mostly referred to as 'the human'.
