A stub is an article which needs expansion or further explaination. Often stubs are started to give a short description and lure the reader inside to write a better article.
Writing a stub
If you decide to write a stub, make sure to include {{stub}} at the beginning of the article.
Locating stubs
- Category:Stubs the main list of stub articles.
- Special:Shortpages New written articles that weren't categorized as stubs.
Removing stub status
Once a stub has been properly expanded and becomes a larger article, you may remove its {{stub}} template. No administrator action or formal permission is needed.
Be bold in removing stub tags that are clearly no longer applicable.
