A Scroll of Displacement is a scroll that can be used to teleport a vampire (in the same square) to a new, random location in the city. A vampire may use it on him- or herself.

In-game description
This scroll should be read while concentrating on a particular person, which may include oneself. The target will be immediately transported to a random location in the same city - excellent for evading pursuit or for getting closer to a destination.
If Displacing Another
Reader of Scroll Message: <Vampire> turns to powder, which disperses swiftly.
Displaced Message: <Vampire> read a Scroll of Displacement at you! The world melts away around you, then re-forms.
If Displacing Yourself
Message You will See: The world melts away around you, then re-forms.
Tips and recommendations
Excellent for evading pursuit or for getting closer to a destination. However, the location is not completely random, as it will be on the same side (either western or eastern) where used.

The Scroll of Displacement was added to the game on October 17, 2004.
