Edit counts

I think the edit counter on the main page should be removed. It seems to be creating an air of unhealthy competition which is resulting in a lot of junk edits. --Archangel ^{Talk * Welcome * Support} 22:26, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

New Pages

Is there any way to add a list of NEW pages to the special pages category? I find that new pages seem to need the most work, (and I get bored just hitting "random page" over and over, lol), but if it's possible within the limits of the software, a list of newer pages would really be great! --Archangel ^{Talk * Welcome * Support} 21:20, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Block screenshots

I suggest the following

1. If we use a screenshot of a block, we should always show all 3x3 squares.
2. Should the squares be empty in the picture?
3. Never show the description below (at least for buildings) as that would be redundant informations and should always be cited in the description of the article (Exceptions can be made if useful).

I read your suggestions and I thought it made the screenshot too large with the 3 x 3, but I can do that. Do you want me to redo the ones I have already done or just do that way for the next ones? My thought was, not to irritate a newbie player. I remember when I saw the matrix the first time, (I remembered the game was just the bitelink), "WTH is this supposed to be?" So we should show the whole 3x3 with the subject in the center of attention. No distraction. Hence the suggestion not to show too much. --Cliff Burton • Marco 15:23, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

After trying out a few things I tweaked the display of all your included (29) screenshots. I think they look better without frame, 300px wide instead of 200px, and I removed the link to the picture. So if some confused player is clicking on the squares, nothing happens. If you are going to include more schreenschots, maybe just take a look at how I did it. Just FYI, the text change didn't catch all of the screenshots (Probably because tej worded it slightly different somehow) There were at least two that I changed manually to 300px. If I find another one, i'll bring it up here.--Archangel ^{Talk * Welcome * Support} 22:25, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
