Talk:Example Character Page

From Ravenblack CityWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

I think a good and useful idea would be to provide somewhat standardized examplepages for content types like the presentation of characters, clans and similar...

Maybe we should vote which would be a representative Character page.

Including Category:Characters on the bottom seems to be mandatory, also the use of the character in front of a characters name.

I also like the Idea of this one: http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Template:Groupbox

But this Wiki should be allowed to grow to get his own personality.

Oh that's pretty! but yeah we need to make our own. I've been taking a crash course in wiki, and maybe I could knock up a couple of ideas, but I'm too busy to do it anytime soon. Besides we should discuss what we want in it first anyway.--Archangel Talk * Welcome * Support 18:42, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Rofl@ "Mightyintimidatingvampirename", as an aside, I've been looking at all of the better character pages and I notice that all of the good ones have a photo or image. Should we add that? --Archangel Talk * Welcome * Support 19:28, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

We should add it. As this is meant as a guideline, the ones who doesn't want it, can remove the code. Those who want are provided with a way to do it. --Cliff Burton Marco 19:32, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Also, I think the example character page should be easily accessable. Perhaps from the main page or user page (or even from a "getting Started" page). --Archangel Talk * Welcome * Support 19:48, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Awesome work Marco! Looks great and should be really useful! I plan to use the little template thingy in the future. --LISA Talk|Character 20:43, 27 June 2011 (CEST)
I am glad you like it. Let's hope that you still will, when you have tried to use it :D --Cliff Burton Marco 21:20, 27 June 2011 (CEST)
