The Halls of Heorot

Description

A massive castle fortress looms in front of you; its walls made of thick blocks of dark granite, and ugly spikes, rudely sharpened but functional, protrude at measured intervals. A signal fire blazes strong in the tallest of the towers.

Right beside the huge Keep doors is planted a spike with a gruesome, half-rotting head at the top. Larger than human, its jaw slumps awkwardly, half-supported by the rude spike. The black hair falls down, matted in braids, to gently brush the white snow, marking it rusty-red. Some words are engraved on a thick marble bier that sits near the gate:

   Am I not pre-eminent in the field of blood?
   I have a hundred shares of the spoil.
   My wreath is of red jewels,
   Of gold is the border of my shield.

Greetings immortal,

Welcome to the home of clan House of Heorot. Before you lies to door to multiple paths within our keep. Here you will meet many fellow applicants who are working HARD on getting powers, prestige, as well as RPing with their fellow applicants. Spend some time at the pub, or run around in the warrior's ring in the back-- it's all in what you want to do to stand out! Entry to the Main House is long process, but it is well-worth it. Someday you may sit in the mead-hall next to the vampire warriors of the House of Heorot.
