Help with formating

Can someone help me on how to get the "vampire" section back to the top of the page where the "contents" box is underneath my intro, again? Please and thank you! --Bry talkvamp

Signature

Somethings wrong with it. Please try to correct it. If there is one thing bothering me (don't wanna sound angry, which I am not) , than it is a signature that isn't linked to a users userpage. Please check the help pages ( Help:Templated_Signatures). Fangs --Cliff Burton Marco 04:43, 24 December 2010 (CET)

If this doesn't work...you'll have to deal, sorry. --Bry talkvamp 05:21, 24 December 2010 (CET)
Still, something is wrong with your signature. If you do it rightk the Substitution should result in something like
--{{User:Edan/sig}}
and no other wiki or HTML code. Please try to fix it, I had this kind of converstion many times. --Cliff Burton Marco 00:01, 29 January 2011 (CET)
Fonts aren't acceptable? Or was it something else you were looking at? --Bry talkvamp 01:26, 29 January 2011 (CET)
Also, for some reason in my Preference says the "user talk" page is linkable but when I post my signature, it's no longer linkable. --Bry talkvamp 01:29, 29 January 2011 (CET)
Dunno about any errors (or fonts, for that matter; you should be able to apply a particular font though, like cliff has?) but the talk link works fine. It just doesn't show here because this is your talk page :P But take a look at something like the Battle Arena talk page, where it shows up just fine. --Cora -talk | vamp- 04:49, 29 January 2011 (CET)
  • friendly hint* Just to clarify things... font is fine... the sig looks fine, it is how it presents itself in codeview(edit)... which it doesn't the right way... the help page explains how to do it. So that
    --~~~~
    becomes
    --{{User:Edan/sig}}
    . --Cliff Burton Marco 04:54, 29 January 2011 (CET)
Thanks Cora, I figured that after I read that it works for you, lol, silly me. @Marco: Lemme look into it a second and I'll see what I can do. --Bry talkvamp 07:07, 29 January 2011 (CET)
I just advertised the important parts of the tutorial with green writing. Please take a look at it, it only takes 5 mins do do this. I know not every one is a programmer, but it doesn't take much. Help:Templated_Signatures#Using_your_signature. --Cliff Burton Marco 18:09, 29 January 2011 (CET)
Okay, so does anyone wanna do this for me? Because I tried and got my entire page in my signature. :| --Bry talkvamp 21:35, 29 January 2011 (CET)
I just created your signature page: User:Edan/sig. This is where you can meddle with your signature... Now, you have to go in your own preferences page, (please read the mentioned help-page for that), and put in the code the tutorial says, save it and you should be fine. --Cliff Burton Marco 23:06, 29 January 2011 (CET)

More Signature Talk

Aaah I think I can tell what's wrong. Is it that the coded thingy isn't put into the My Preferences? That should easily be fixed (if indeed it is just that; hope it is). Bryan, if you can't find me on YIM - I was on earlier and replied to your offline, but I'm not on right now - PM me on Bite with what you think is wrong and I'll get back to you asap <3 --Cora -talk | vamp- 01:44, 31 January 2011 (CET)

Thanks for the help, I found where I was misunderstanding. As I said in the private message, I was under the impression you must have the entire signature as well as the signature code. >.< Also, I had the box checked the entire time. --Bry talkvamp 01:15, 1 February 2011 (CET)
Yay It works :D I feel useful... Glad I could help. --Cora -talk | vamp- 01:18, 1 February 2011 (CET)
Thank you, Cora! :) --Bry talkvamp 23:05, 3 February 2011 (CET)
I made some adjustments to your signature preferences (not the looks), as it didn't work the way it is supposed to do. Also I removed the leading double dashs in the signature itself, as it will be generated automagically. Finally I replaced all your previous signature marks with the correct wiki code. Because the old way led to ugly HTML code everywhere you posted. No need to apologize, I agree that is something that is not that easy to understand if you do it just once in your lifetime. Fangs for tr<ing though :) --Cliff Burton Marco 02:40, 9 March 2011 (CET)

a personal message

Just so you know, I don't like to rant or offend people.. but I also do not kiss a§$ to make everyone stay. And I also am as neutral as I can be, which means mostly loyal to me and my projects.. I am not following a clan, group or family.. and I really hate conspiracies and paranoid people who play the games on the OOC level.. meaning, bringing the game to a level, where it shouldn't belong. Also I don't like to be played by groups or similar. You should know that I consider and considered some players/humans friends, until I also became friend with someone they (really) hate even OOC. That's a sad thing. So, no offense intended. --Cliff Burton Marco 16:41, 19 February 2011 (CET)

I completely agree with what you said here, while I'm not sure where it came from I have an idea. I wasn't trying to start anything when I suggested what I did, only trying to make it a better community as a whole. But I also understand this is under a sever that you pay for and the ending choice is one for you to make. I didn't take anything you said personal, nor did I take offense. I, personally, don't hate anything on an OOC level here in the game however; there are plenty that I'd just assume ignore their very existence. I want you to know, from the horses mouth so to speak, anything which I suggest has nothing to do with whom posted it, or what it is posted about but rather to make the community, which I've come to enjoy (speaking of the Wiki), a better and more appealing place. --Bry talkvamp 23:00, 19 February 2011 (CET)
Fangs for your support. But did you see what hatered it spawned, not saying that you are the one to blame or that you "better think the next time you post".. no. Isn't it sad though, that someone used it to create a situation where this person blamed another one which she (yes) hates for reasons that shouldn't concern me? The really sad thing is, that persons often tra to be friends with me.. and like I said.. later I have to learn, that their behaviour is far from reasonable.. and I really have to look out for me, not to become bitter, distrustful or paranoid, because I could see something that I don't wanna think about, like if I get played... for their personal interest in gaining power while playing this game.. it's just something I can understand (from a pathological or psychological point of view), but it's sick.. and it definately is not ok. And I bet.. on/in(?) some boards/forums I am getting dissed for it.. which is sad and somehow funny.. because those people are deceiving themselves or deceive others.. again for the benefit of playing (their) game(s)... Me, I am always say that I am not the one who likes to play the powercard, but sometimes I am forced to.. Again, Fangs for sour understanding. P.S. I like to be criticized btw. It's the only way for progress. --Cliff Burton Marco 05:33, 20 February 2011 (CET)
No you see, that is where you're inaccurate. What I posted did not spawn any hatred, it was Sam who did that. Had he acted like the adult he claims to be and had not been harsh and insulting per his usual ways, things would have gone very differently. But, as in the three years I've been playing Vampires! I know who and what Sam is...and what he has displayed here does not surprise me. Though, I wish not to make this about him as it isn't really. I just want you to be clear I do not see any hatred spawned from what I post. --Bry talkvamp 08:43, 20 February 2011 (CET)
