Zeroed

When a vampire has been reduced to a certain low number of blood pints, they are considered zeroed. Certain clans determine that you have been zeroed at 10 blood pints or under and other clans insist on a true reduction to an absolute zero blood pints.

Means of Zeroing

Most consider a zeroing only acknowledged when done by another vampire; instances where a vampire hunter reduces ones bloodpints to "zero" are generally overlooked.

Once a vampire has been reduced to 3 bloodpints it is impossible to take more blood from them. It isn't possible to bite a vampire with 3 bloodpints or less. (Which is often the reason behind 'imperfect zeroings')

Repercussions

A zeroed vampire is considered defeated. Some defeated vampires choose to enter the state of torpor.

A vampire who has been zeroed, and then who is continually kept at a low BP (usually under 200 BP) by other vampires, is considered a Twig.
